🍞✨ Dr. Sebi-Inspired Raisin Bread
“So clean, even your cells are clapping.”
🌾 Ingredients (alkaline & Sebi-approved-ish)
• 2 cups spelt flour (or kamut flour)
• 1 tsp baking soda
• ½ tsp sea salt
• 1 tsp cinnamon (optional but highly encouraged)
• ½ tsp ground cloves or nutmeg (optional, for the flavor dance)
• ½ cup seedless raisins (soaked in warm spring water for 10 minutes)
• ¼ cup date sugar or blended soaked dates
• 1 cup unsweetened hemp milk or walnut milk
• 2 tbsp grape seed oil or avocado oil
• 1 tsp approved vanilla extract (alcohol-free if going all in)
Joke break:
Why did the raisin go to school?
Because it couldn’t concentrate without a little “grape” knowledge! 🍇😂
🔥 Instructions
- Preheat your vibes (and oven):
Set it to 350°F (175°C). Grease a loaf pan with a little grape seed oil or line it with parchment paper. - Mix dry squad:
In a bowl, combine flour, baking soda, sea salt, cinnamon, and any other dry spices you’re vibing with. - Sweeten the deal:
In another bowl, whisk the milk, date sugar (or blended soaked dates), vanilla, and oil until it’s smooth and looks like it wants a hug. - Combine & raisin the roof:
Mix wet into dry until just combined. Fold in the soaked raisins (drain them first). Don’t overmix, we’re not trying to start a dough war. - Bake like a boss:
Pour into loaf pan, smooth the top, and bake for 40–50 minutes. Check with a toothpick, it should come out mostly clean but maybe with a raisin hanging on for dear life. - Cool it down (if you can wait):
Let it cool before slicing. Or just rip into it gently, we won’t judge. ✋😌
🍇🔥 Serving Tips:
• Toast it and spread on some homemade walnut butter
• Pair with herbal tea and a deep convo
• Or eat it straight and vibe in peace
Final Punchline:
What do you call raisin bread with no refined sugar, no dairy, and no guilt?
“The loaf that loved you back.” 💚🍞
